Quick Pitch Canvas Wall kit for Weathershade Awning

Wall Kit for Quick Pitch Weathershade 20 Sec Awnings

In a completely other league!!

45 second video quickly shows you what makes this the best, see here

Made with premium 400gsm South African woven, core spun polycotton. This is real canvas at an impressive weight, worlds apart from the cheap polyester/oxford or Chinese canvas used on most awnings & wall kits sold in NZ.

Real South African canvas lasts much longer and is a true investment.

With real canvas you're constructing a quality enclosure that's enjoyable in real world use, not the greenhouse you get with plastic based fabrics.

The 270 wall kit includes 3 additional poles needed to be used with the walls. The 180 wall kit includes 2 additional poles.

Quick Pitch products are designed for serious overlanders & outdoor enthusiasts.

About the size:

As the Quick Pitch awning this fits is absolutely huge (15 sqm) this wall set provides a huge covered enclosure. The walls zip, not velcro on. 3 extra support poles are supplied with the wall kit.

Quick Pitch says:

This side wall kit was designed with the user in mind as this side wall kit can be fitted by one person in minutes because of the heavy-duty zips (no Velcro) and light, yet durable canvas that is used to manufacture the side wall kit.

The side wall kit zips into place with no effort. All the side walls join on each pole giving you a closed apartment next to your vehicle that can be used as an extra room or just to keep the weather elements out. The side wall kit comes standard with 2 windows and a double door opening with insect screens suitable for tiny, Australian biting midges and mosquitos.

The side wall kit is water resistant with 400mm PVC bottom insert making it suitable for any terrain as the PVC is easy to clean, each side has stainless steel eyelets that can be pegged down if needed. The side wall kit is a great addition to the 20 second weather shade awning.

  • Product Use Notes

Adding this wall kit to the Weathershade awning produces a first class outdoor enclosure and shelter, but make sure you understand what it does and doesn't do:

Wind - the video showing the Weathershade awning withstanding gale force winds is no doubt impressive. But don't assume it's practical to leave the wall kit up in high winds. Common sense applies. If the wind comes up strong and the canvas is starting to flap excessively, take the wall kit down before it, or the awning, sustains wind damage. No tent, awning or wall kit is warrantied for wind damage.

The enclosure provides excellent privacy and shelter in normal conditions. You can sleep within this shelter if you choose, but it is not a tent or tent replacement as such. It does not have it's own sealed floor.

Rain - In rain the awning is waterproof while the wall kit is water resistant. You will be protected from the rain and stay dry when in this enclosure, but again it is not the same as a fully sealed tent. Water may run down walls onto the inwards facing PVC storm flaps at the bottom and then onto the ground.
