This all new camper is a very exciting collaboration between two of our premium South African brands! This will be an interesting alternative to a canopy + roof tent. 
 
Bushtech aluminium canopies are already the strongest, lightest and most dust-proof canopies on the NZ market. The tent & mattress parts of the camper are made by 42 year proven global commercial grade roof tent brand EEZI-AWN. Both Johannesburg based companies known for producing some of the world's highest quality & best performing overland gear.
 
How is a camper different from a canopy + roof tent?
 
A defining difference is that compared to a canopy + roof tent (including tray & canopy + roof tent) a camper takes a step in the direction of having some 'live-in', heatable interior space, as opposed to being a 'live-around' setup.
You access the camper from the rear and there is no need for a ladder to access the sleeping area. It's all in one.
When not sleeping in the tent area the mattress base pushes up into the tent shell, creating a large space and huge standing height in the camper - taller than you can reach!
You take advantage of the above by customising an internal layout that works for you - either more storage space or more living space. We'll have a variety of factory and custom options.
No more climing down a ladder in rain. Enter/exit the camper under the cover of a 270 degree awning (Xpeditionz imports the best 270 awnings on the NZ market). Add the wall kit option and you have a fully private camper.
Both canopy & tent section of the camper are insulated and have brand name National Luna dual colour LED lighting installed throughout.
Add a diesel heater in the camper and you have a class leading 4 Season camper solution that doesn't hinder where your 4wd can go.
 
Bushtech canopies offer superior quality of build and finish compared to other similar products. All tig weld scars are hand finished on Bushtech products and much higher quality powder coat finishes are applied. Also consider that Bushtech ute canopies are load tested to 2.5 tonnes(!) whilst being even lighter than plastic & fibreglass canopies. Clearly they are not made like others.
 
The sleeping area developed by globally proven EEZI-AWN offers a larger and more luxurious experience compared to even the best roof tents. Twin layered, Teflon treated canvas of much higher quality & longevity than usually seen on the NZ market. Insulated performance. An absolutely massive premium mattress that is 2.45m long by 1.38m wide... and 100mm thick!
 
Serious insulation and best in class lighting system will be standard.
 
Compared to other types of slide on ute campers, the Bush Cabin does not compromise the off-road capability of the vehicle you put it on. When closed it is light weight with loads appropriately distributed.
