Optimised Platform Size
1400 mm × 1250 mm — an ideal footprint for the 2016+ Hilux double cab (N80), providing excellent usable load area without unnecessary overhang. Platform options are also available for Ranger, BT-50, Triton, and D-Max.
 
All-Metal Spine Mounting System
The K9 uses EEZI-AWN’s proven spine-mount design. The kit includes the full platform, spine brackets, and all hardware — entirely metal, with no plastic components anywhere in the structural system.
 
Fully Welded Aluminium Construction
The platform is factory welded into a single rigid structure. The planks are not riveted, bolted, or held together with plastic or nylon corner inserts. This approach delivers superior strength, long-term durability, and significantly reduces installation time compared to modular rack systems.
 
Exceptional Tie-Down Flexibility
Each plank features twin 8 mm mounting slots, combined with a continuous 6 mm slot around the entire perimeter of the rack. This allows loads to be secured exactly where required and enables integration with both expedition accessories and selected Thule / Yakima lifestyle mounts.
 
Lengthwise Plank Orientation
Planks run front-to-back rather than side-to-side. This improves airflow, reduces wind noise, and creates a cleaner, more functional load surface — especially at highway speeds.
 
Alloy Wind Deflector Included
An aluminium wind deflector is supplied as standard, helping reduce wind noise and improving on-road refinement without compromising strength.
 
Extensive Accessory Compatibility
A wide range of purpose-built accessories is available, including mounts for ladders, shovels, Maxtrax, jerry cans, spare wheels, Hi-Lift jacks, and awnings. For simple daily use, EEZI-AWN eye bolts can be fitted anywhere on the rack and used with standard ratchet straps.
